I have not known what to write for sometime on my blog but then a shocker happened.

I know this is very unusual since I really did not know him personally. Plus my tribute is a little late but I have to say.... I was truly saddened by the lost of Tim Russert. I LOVED listening to him and admired much about his work and ability. His smile, laugh and straight forward talk. Then I read more about him and I can see why I was drawn to him. He was a good, God fearing, family man. Now I did not always agree with him when it came to politics but I do like different opinions and different takes on political view. I so was looking forward to watching him through this Presidential race with his zeal and zest for these political matters. He always helped me see a different take on issues and I loved his straight uncomfortable questions. He so helped me make my own decisions and I believe that is what Tim wanted people to do. I will miss my TV friend and watching him. I hope we can all learn something from him. I know I have.

I thought that he was a sports broadcaster when I first heard about it so I obviously didn't know his work. But it sounds like he was a great man. Sad.
Great tribute Jennifer! My dad loved Tim Russert. So sad to lose a man of great integrity like that. Love ya,
