Last night I was watching TV before I went to bed and was watching the Tonight show. I usually will watch the monologue and then go to bed but last night Ellen DeGeneres was on and I think she is funny, and she was, until the end of the interview when she decided to say something that just got me boiling, so much I could not sleep. I am SICK of HOLLYWOOD!!!!!
She was commenting on the California Prop 8 initiative (also Prop 102 in AZ) and since we have free speech in this land.... she can say what she wants.....BUT to have the gall to say what she did REALLY Bugged me. Her words were " don't vote for the initiative, don't vote for HATE" WHAT! did she really say what I think she said. yup she did.
I have several friends who have chosen to live an alternative lifestyle and though I do not agree with this I still accept them as who they are. I do not treat them any differently then any of my other friends. I don't push them to believe what I do. Though they know my beliefs. All of my friends gay or not have different personalities and beliefs and this is where I get SO mad at Ellen's comments .....Because of my belief on families and marriage a group of "Hollywood" and some others think that I (and others like me) are creating HATE....when really who is creating hate they are.
This life is full of choices each of us gets to make these choices, right or wrong. I may think your choice is wrong and you may think my choice is wrong but respect of each others choice is important. Just because I think your choice is wrong does not mean I hate, it means I have a different view.
Do I hate Ellen NO, do I hate my friends who are gay NO.
ELLEN DEGENERES --- I DO NOT HATE! If you got to know me you would know that.

I am going to comment on a comment that I got on my blog which I deleted. THIS IS MY BLOG AND I CAN SPEAK, DELETE AND SAY WHAT EVER I WANT. If you choose to disagree with my blog that is your choice we have a free agency in this land. But I GET to say what I want on it, and have what I want on it, as well as delete what I don't want on it. So if you make a comment on my blog that is rude...It will be deleted...just so you know. Oh and VOTE YES for PROP 8. For the family it has nothing to do with hate!
