Happy 43rd to ME!

Thursday was my birthday and it was a wonderful day. Though I did work in the morning I came home and got ready for my FIRST EVER birthday date!...yes, I know some of you are in shocked. My date Mike Standridge, Mike came over and we made dinner, salmon, wild rice, carrots and zucchini....OK I was not the best cook. I burnt the rice and over cooked the zucchini. Mike was a gentleman and ate my cooking but it was still good and the company was GREAT! Later that night we went dancing, which I love.
Saturday is the day I celebrated with friends. I got off work early, around noon, and Susan, Shelly, Joellyn and I went to lunch at the Maltby cafe. YUM! Then we went over to the Flower Barn (I think that is what it is called) We looked at plants and garden plants it was so coold and beautiful. They had animals on the grounds, ponds and water fixtures. It was all so pleasing to the eye.
Later that night a larger group of friends got together. I chose a Rock n' Roll theme this year. I like to have theme birthdays. We held it at the very tasty Pizza Joint called THE ROCK Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits in Millcreek. This place is also Themed with Rock n' Roll paraphernalia it was very fitting. We had Pizza and had many of my friends there. It was great, afterwards we came back to my place and had cake and ice cream. It was fun to talk, chat and just enjoy getting one more year older.
